CONTEMPORARY FAMILY GARDEN AND DRIVEWAY

We recently designed and re-landscaped a front driveway for a client in Tonbridge. The original driveway had shared access and was completely hidden by overgrown shrubs.

The front drive and garden has been completely transformed by opening up this space and creating an inviting and contemporary entrance.

We installed a resin drive, edged with grey sandstone setts, to create a stunning yet low maintenance drive.

The drive has substantially increased in size, which now allows for more parking.

The pathways were laid with a Brett Kota Blue Limestone and grey sand stone setts for detail.

The Venetian fence divides the once shared drive, in a clean and contemporary fashion.

The planting is simple and and low maintenance, with gravel beds and several large evergreen shrubs for impact. There is a large, up-lit, multi-stem evergreen, which creates a stunning focal point and all year round interest, which can be enjoyed both from inside the house and externally.

CONTEMPORARY CIRCULAR FAMILY GARDEN

Before

BEFORE

Our clients wanted to create a more inviting and family friendly garden. They also wanted the aesthetics to work and compliment the new front garden and driveway.

There were two large raised round beds, that the clients wanted to keep and incorporate into the new design. This leant itself well to a circular design.

The curved Brett Beta block paved paths, in Silver Haze, link the circular patios. We used blocks and kerbs to define the patios and pathways. The smaller circular patio was designed to incorporate a bespoke teak curved bench. We also built and installed a bespoke, softwood pergola, which creates another great space for entertaining.

Again we used Brett Kota Blue Limestone to match the front of the property to create a contemporary feel, which also compliments the grey of the window frames.

The flowerbeds are also curved, keeping the theme, while also incorporating new and existing planting.

A small semi circular paving area creates an inviting entrance and patio for the garden room. Again, the grey of the stone compliments the grey within the garden room. The circular beds add beautiful detail and soften the paving.

The long curved block path leads to the far end of the garden and to the garden room.
