TWO TIERED PATIO GARDEN

THE BRIEF
To design Contemporary and stylish patio areas were created for my clients to enjoy their garden from different aspects.
The current patio was significantly smaller, so the lower patio was enlarged and a brick retaining created the change in level.
The lower patio creates a large area for relaxing and dining, with the brick retaining wall also creates a sunken patio feel.
This area incorporates a pergola providing protection from the weather.
Large square steps create a practical and stunning wow factor, which leads you into the garden.
The raised patio area means the garden can be enjoyed from a higher aspect.
The simple and sophisticated Egyptian limestone works well with the clay pavers which create the detail. The limestone coping stone frame the patios beautifully.
The simple planting creates all year round interest with a limited colour palette. The two up lit Osmanthus Burkwoodii multi-stem create all year round focal interest and height.
